LH Series of Homes: A Structure For Custom Building

In the ideal world of Custom Building, your imagination would be the only limit for plan designs, home features, and material selections. However, in the real world in which we all live, our budgets are the real driver behind the decisions we make in most areas of our lives. Given this fact of life, we have developed a system of product levels that helps you better understand how your budget aligns with the plan designs, home features, and material selections you’re dreaming of building.

We have narrowed the broad definition of a “Custom Home” down to three distinct product lines or “Levels” of home. A custom home is categorized as one of our three levels based on the combination of these major cost driving factors: the complexity of architectural details, the efficiency of the floorplan, and the level of material finishes chosen.

Each of these broad factors directly impact both your home’s cost per square foot and overall cost. As a full service Design-Builder, we are equipped to build everything from highly efficient, cost-effective homes to highly intricate, statement pieces and everything in-between.

It is our goal to build the home with the design, features, and materials you have thoughtfully budgeted for. This system helps equip you with the information to make well informed decisions about your home’s design and allow you not to break the bank in the process.

CLASSIC SERIES

Classic-Series Homes are clean, straightforward designs that are build to our high standard of quality. They feature simple rooflines, lower ceiling heights, limited “non-living” square footage, and conservative material finishes. These factors make Classic Series Custom Homes efficient and cost-effective to build.

SELECT SERIES

Select-Series Homes introduce moderate complexity to a home’s architectural details and outfits it with more stylized material selections. Varied roof pitches, higher ceilings heights, more “non-living” square footage, modest beam accents, and upgraded window styles, all drive the cost profile of a Select Series Custom Homes a step higher than our Classic Series.

PREMIER SERIES

Premier-Series Homes incorporate extensive architectural features like multi-layered roof structures, vaulted or coffered ceilings, larger spans for open floor plans, high-end material finishes, and expansive “non-living” square footage areas. All of these elements significantly elevate a Premier Series home’s construction costs above the Classic and Select levels.
