My name is Renee’ Mathis LaRocque and I’m the mama of this outfit. To say I’m proud of my boys is an understatement. But more than proud, I’m grateful for the godly, hardworking, honest young men they’ve become.

I am a long time resident of Moss Bluff along with my husband of 44 years, Bryan LaRocque. After graduating from MSU in 1982, with a BS in Home Economics related to Business, I spent the next years raising 3 great kids. Kyle, Brennan, and their little sister, Ashlee.

My work life consisted of book-keeping for a laminate distribution company and teaching school. I retired from teaching in 2020 after 20 years of service. That same year, I began helping the boys at LaRocque Homes as office manager. Kyle and Brennan needed my help and I needed a fresh challenge. Little did any of us know how challenging life in construction would become following 2 hurricanes, covid, supply chain issues and soaring prices. As tough as it is at times, I love what I am doing and plan to continue, as long as I enjoy it.

I’m thankful to be a part of the LaRocque Homes team. We’re a family and we care for one another. We collaborate, disagree, apologize, encourage, plan, explain, teach and laugh. In the end, we strive to produce beautiful homes, while allowing homeowners an experience that is as seamless and painless as possible.
